Unlike a lot of other enclosure companies that use light gauge round EMT framing, aboutGOLF frames are made of square and rectangular aluminum tube with ⅛” thick walls to provide maximum stability with minimal deflection even over long lengths. Framing members connect utilizing custom steel bracketry.
Yes! aboutGOLF offers either a solid fabric top skin ceiling, or a net top skin ceiling along the top of the enclosure. The net option allows sprinklers to function properly above the enclosure utilizing a 92% open material system, so that water will pass right through to the floor.
Yes, our fabrics have been tested for flame spread and flame resistance so that they can be used in both residential and commercial applications. Spec sheets for our materials are available upon request.
We recommend 18” clearance behind the screen and 6” clearance along the sides and above the top of the enclosure to prevent ball deflection or damage to the surrounding area.
