Calling All Long Drive Specialists

We are proud to partner with the Professional Long Drivers Association to offer a new way to qualify for Regionals leading up to the 2021 Professional Long Drivers World Championship. Unlike traditional PGA tournament formats, this competition is all about power and speed.

Very few of us hit the ball at 100% of our ability, but it’s never too late to learn how. Before you enter the qualifying contest, get in a good warm up session. When you’re in the Online Qualifier, don’t hold back! It’s a lot more fun (and effective) to just let it fly.

What does it take to qualify for Regionals?

Minimum yardage for qualification is 300 yards. If your drive exceeds 300 yards, you qualify for stage 2 Regional Qualifying (Open Division). At the end of each weekly local qualifier, the PLDA will take the qualifying scores from all leaderboards by division and contact them about registering for stage 2 Regional Qualifying.



Do I need to enter every week?

No, but each qualifier only counts for one regional event. If you want to qualify for multiple regional events, you may re-enter as often as you’d like.



Why are there multiple events in a given week? Do I have to enter all of them?

Players are only allowed to enter each qualifier event one time. These players can pay an additional three skins to enter all 3 qualifier events each week if they so choose.



How many weeks can I try to qualify?

If you continue to train and improve, you may want to enter again. We encourage you to do so. There is no limit, and the number of entries is up to the player’s discretion.
