Enhancing the Golfing Experience: Improving the In-Game User Interface for Right and Left-Handed Golfers

At aboutGOLF, we are constantly striving to enhance the virtual golfing experience for our valued users. We understand that small details can make a big difference, which is why we are thrilled to introduce some exciting improvements to our in-game user interface. Based on valuable feedback from our community, we have optimized the on-screen information specifically tailored for right and left-handed golfers. In this blog post, we will delve into the details of these enhancements and explain how they contribute to a more immersive and convenient golfing experience.

Enhanced Interface for Right-Handed Golfers

One of the key improvements we have made is for our right-handed golfers. We understand that having quick access to essential information while addressing the ball is crucial. With this in mind, we have made several changes to the user interface specifically designed for righties.

The most noticeable change is the flip of the course map to the right-hand portion of the screen. This repositioning allows right-handed golfers to have an unobstructed view of the map while simultaneously checking vital details. In addition, we have introduced a consolidated box that contains hole, stroke, wind, lie information, and a 3Track indicator light.

By consolidating this information into a single box, right-handed golfers can conveniently review all the necessary details pre-shot without having to navigate through multiple screens. This streamlined approach not only saves valuable time but also ensures a seamless golfing experience.

Improved Interface for Left-Handed Golfers

We haven't forgotten about our left-handed golfers! Recognizing that their needs differ from right-handed players, we have made adjustments to ensure they have an optimized user interface as well.

For left-handed golfers, the course map will remain on the left side of the screen, catering to their natural viewing preference. Additionally, they will now see the same consolidated box that right-handed golfers have, positioned conveniently beneath their map. This layout ensures that left-handed players can access all the necessary information efficiently, just like their right-handed counterparts.

How to Access the Update

To take advantage of these exciting interface improvements, simply navigate to the update center on the desktop of each of your simulators. We have made it as easy as possible for you to access the latest build of our software and enjoy the enhanced user interface.
