Introducing an aboutGOLF Currency: aG Skins
A skin is a monetary unit used as currency in the aboutGOLF ecosystem. They can be won/awarded as prizes but also used for purchasing services, access to events, as well as virtual and physical goods (aboutGOLF shirt, HG Club). Skins are similar to "coins" in other gaming environments.
In the aG Locker app, buy your aG Tour subscription for aG Skins – the currency aG uses for event entry.
aG Skins will be required to enter many of our upcoming events.
During nearly every event, players have a chance to win back aG Skins. For example, if they place at the top of the leaderboard, hit the longest drive, or land closest to the pin, they may gain back multiple aG Skins.

How to Compete in aG Tours
Are there requirements for my aG Links simulator?
Yes. For online competition the aG Links simulator must be connected to the Internet. Note that aG Links must be running on version 1626 (or later as updates become available).
What username and password do I use for aG Locker?
Any player who has an online account in aG Links or has logged into aG Data should use the same username and password for their aG Locker account. The same online account spans across our platform to give customers continuous access to the Modern Golf experience.
If you’ve never used an online account, you’ll need to set up a new username and password using the instructions outlined above. We recommend doing this in aG Locker. Remember, the same credentials will be used to log into aG Links online when you compete.
Are there age or any other restrictions on who can participate?
Yes. Players must be 18 or older to qualify for prizes. Individuals located in Arizona, Colorado, Maryland, or Nebraska are not eligible to participate in the AG Tour U.S. Contest. Do not purchase Contest “skins” or otherwise participate in the Contest if you are located in one of those states, unless you plan to travel to an eligible state to participate. For additional rules and regulations, see our full list below.
If I need help, who can I call or email?
Can I invite friends to compete?
Absolutely! The more the merrier. Be sure to instruct them to set up their aG Locker account ahead of time so it’s easier for them to register for the event, log into aG Links for their turn, and view the leaderboard.
Do I need to use aG Locker to register for the tour?
Yes. Download the app here.
Can my customers participate at my commercial facility?
Yes. The aG Tour is open to anyone with access to an aG Links simulator. If you’re an aG Partner, contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org for materials to help you market this event for your location.
What happens if I win?
You'll hear from an aG Tour manager about next steps. Be sure to check your inbox (and junk folder, just in case). We need a response in order to process your winnings.
My Screen froze so I backed out of the event. Can I still compete, or did I lose my 5 shots?
If you took any shots and they were captured on the leaderboard prior to the screen freezing, you may not retake those shots. Once shots are recorded, your available shots count down until all 5 chances are used. If you didn’t take any shots prior to the screen freezing, you can still log into the event and take all 5 shots.
I'm a woman and I want to compete. How do I select the ladies' tees?
Women are more than welcome at all our events! We do have tee advantages in most of our events. To make sure you play the event from the correct tee, go into aG Locker and update your gender under Profile settings. The default game settings will have you hitting from the wrong tee if this change is not made.
What’s an aG Skin?
An aG Skin is a form of currency in aG Tours. Some tournaments are free to enter, while other seasonal tournaments can cost multiple aG Skins to enter. aG Skins can be purchased in the aG Locker app beginning in October.
