The world has changed in ways we would have never expected only weeks ago. Concerts, sporting events, and conferences have been canceled and many of us can no longer leave our homes. It’s easy to succumb to worry when our families are restless. We find golf is a great way to destress, even if you’re stuck indoors.
We’ve been inspired to offer a new online tournament that anyone 18 or older with access to an online aG Links simulator can play.
If you didn’t receive our golf tournament flyer, this is the first of a series of online Closest to the Pin competitions in the aG Alpha Home Tour. Players have until March 28th to take 5 shots to hit their ball closest to the pin on the 5th hole of The Preserve (virtual golf course).
Here are the results for Day 1 of the 5th hole of The Preserve:
There are still 5 days to compete! Take your best shots for a chance at $1,000 USD.
The winner of this week’s competition will receive a monetary reward, and we’ll match that award with a corporate contribution to the International Federation of the Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies. We chose this organization because they are taking on COVID-19 in nearly every corner of the world. For more information on why we chose this cause, check out the note from our CEO
To join this golf tournament today, download the aG Locker app. For those of you already in the tournament, you can view the live leaderboard in the aGLocker app.
People are combatting cabin fever in creative ways. From soccer stars juggling toilet paper to indoor scavenger hunts, we love seeing people making the best of the situation. We’d love to see customers using their aG Links simulators to compete and entertain. Contact us with your photos or use the tag #agboredombusters on social media.
