Since 2002, when I founded aboutGolf, I've frequently been asked how we came to start an indoor golf simulator business.

The question is innocent enough and perhaps, intuitively, the first one to ask. But I used to struggle with it. Perhaps it's my tendency to over-think matters. Or maybe it's because nothing is ever as simple as it seems.
