South Shore Country Club’s aboutGolf PGA TOUR Simulators Offer Year-Round Fun and Learning

The South Shore Country Club’s aboutGolf PGA TOUR Simulators offer a year-round virtual experience, enjoyable for all ages. Rain or shine, the South Shore community can enjoy the rewarding benefits of golf through the PGA TOUR Simulator located in club’s The Tour bar.

In November 2010, South Shore Country Club unveiled “The Tour” offering residents an additional outlet for playing golf in the off season. Offering, three PGA TOUR Simulators, The Tour also features a full wait staff and state-of-the-art television system for providing the ultimate golf experience.

Throughout the past two years, the Club has experienced a great amount of success with the aboutGolf PGA TOUR Simulators, and has utilized them as both instructional tools and recreational equipment.

The simulators have also allowed the golf club to expand its season.

 ”Since we brought in the aboutGolf simulators we have been able to grow our year-round revenue and help continue to grow our bottom line,” says Jay McGrail, Director of Operations. “Not only has our revenue been increased by the simulators, but our food and beverage revenue has grown and allowed to keep our restaurant open year round.”

 The aboutGolf PGA TOUR Simulators offer players more than 30 golf courses to tee-off on, including Pebble Beach Golf Links, St. Andrews and TPC Sawgrass. The systems’ user-friendly methods have helped to improve the games of even the best players. By combining the best 3D graphics with the most precise golf ball and swing calculations, a simulator experience is just as rewarding as the outdoor game.
