Tee’s Golf Grill opened in February 2011 with ten aboutGolf PGA TOUR Widescreen Simulators. The facility is in Chesterfield, MO, and is not the first indoor golf facility in the area. 事实上, the nearest competitor is approximately five geographic miles from Tee’s Golf Grill.  

Tee’s Golf Grill employs a specialized reservation system, whereby the management has tracked 1,200 demographically unique patrons and implements targeted marketing based on the characteristics of those demographics. Some marketing strategies have been specifically tailored to individual patrons.

In addition to PGA TOUR Simulators, Tee’s Golf Grill features a full-service bar and grill, with the majority of patrons utilizing the simulators.

 

 

The Challenge

As previously noted, Tee’s Golf Grill is the second indoor facility within a close geographic location, which has presented competitive challenges, as well as an existing marketing platform.

Because Tee’s Golf Grill’s audience is at least minimally educated on the concept of indoor golf technology, the business has not faced a challenge of education, but has instead had to focus on strategies to convince patrons to visit their location over competitors.  

The Solution

Ten PGA TOUR Simulators, equipped with the realism and accuracy offered only by aboutGolf systems. Tee’s Golf Grill needed to provide a truly superior indoor golf experience to thrive in a marketplace with nearby competition. Putting in world-class simulators created a sustainable and enjoyable indoor golf experience to set Tee’s apart.

In addition to providing initial branding and marketing  support, aboutGolf collaborated with Tee’s Golf Grill throughout its inaugural year to encourage continued successes.

The Results

Tee’s Golf Grill was able to realize notable success within its opening four months of business. Through its initial opening sales and a subsequent Groupon campaign, the establishment had successfully booked 9,200 hours of simulator time in fewer than 20 weeks of opening.
