카렌 Palacios - 젠슨 , Ladies Professional Golf Association's (LPGA) Teaching Professional, was named LPGA’s 2008 National Teacher of the Year and has been voted one of America's "Top 50 Instructors" by Golf Digest Magazine since 1998. In addition to owning the golf events company Swing Blade Enterprises and serving as managing editor for Golf Fitness Magazine, Palacios-Jansen – a CHEK Golf Performance Specialist and AFAA certified personal trainer – has developed Cardiogolf, a golf-specific fitness system. She also maintains membership on The Nike Golf Advisory Staff, for which she participates in Nike product development, promotions and communication with retailers. A former David Leadbetter trained instructor and Jim McLean Golf School master instructor, Palacios-Jansen has been teaching golf for 17 years and has appeared on The Golf Channel as one of three finalists, and the only female, out of 1500 entries for the channel’s instructor search. She is also a regular contributor to golf publications such as Golf Fitness Magazine and Golf Tips. Palacios-Jansen is married to Olympic Gold Medalist speed skater Dan Jansen and is frequently requested as a public speaker and lecturer at local and national golf shows and conferences.
